Short Term Missions

STM exists to host groups and invite them to partner alongside us in the ministries we do long-term as Adventures Guatemala. This looks like water filters, stove installations, home visits, etc. Amongst visiting families in the villages, we saw that often that often the water they drank and cooked with was not clean, usually causing different sicknesses. We also saw that they often cook over an open fire inside their home, this provides a risk of smoke inhalation and risk of children getting burned. We do water filters and stove installations to increase sustainability and overall health amongst the families of Guatemala. Our longing for the participants of STM’s is that God will grow their awareness of the needs in the world around us. We hope the experience is a catalyst for their desire to see Heaven on Earth.
