WORLD RACE & GAP YEAR

One of the most notable programs of Adventures in Missions is the World Race. Whether it’s for 1 month, 9 months, or 11 months, teams are launched on a Kingdom journey focused on intimacy with God, authentic community, and living on mission.

Many of our staff at the Guatemala base are World Race alumni, and we frequently host Gap Year students who bring fresh energy and passion. While here, they serve alongside our CarePoints and locally run ministries, engaging deeply with the surrounding communities.

Our heart is to serve, disciple, and send everyone who enters our doors, including World Race participants. One of the most impactful experiences is Activation Thursdays, where our staff leads Spirit-filled worship, teaching, and hands-on ministry, helping Racers put faith into action.

Additional activities include:

  • Cultural orientation

  • Deep Dive Bible discussions

  • Parent Vision Trip, where families join the mission

  • Weekly worship and intercession

We desire not only to teach but to empower believers to become doers, ready to carry the love of Christ wherever they go.
