SHORT TERM MISSIONS
Together, we partner to make hope tangible, visiting homes with the Love of Christ, installing stoves, and providing clean water. Our prayer is that each participant walks away with two things: an awakened heart to global need and a deeper longing to see His love transform the earth.
Here are the ways you'll engage with the Guatemalan community on your trip:
Stove Installation: Many families cook indoors without proper ventilation, filling their homes with smoke. Installing stoves offers health, dignity, and a bridge of trust.
Clean Water: Alongside the stoves, we install filters to provide families with safe, clean drinking water.
Care Point Ministry: These community hubs offer education, soccer, discipleship, and nutritious meals—a place of holistic care and mentorship.
Church Mobilization: We partner with local churches to equip Guatemalan missionaries to share Christ beyond their borders.
Home Building: In partnership with The Birdhouse Foundation, we provide safe, spacious homes for growing families.
Beauty for Ashes (Women’s Trip): Walk alongside women through retreats and relational ministry, offering space for healing and restoration.
Where You’ll Stay:
Our safe, gated base is designed for short-term teams, complete with bunk rooms, bathrooms, showers, kitchen, and meeting space. Clean sheets, pillows, and blankets are provided. Each room has a key for team use. (Light sleeper? Bring earplugs!)
Transportation & Travel:
We’ll arrange all in-country travel. U.S. citizens need a passport valid for 6+ months beyond their stay, with a return ticket. No visa is required for visits under 90 days. Carry a copy of your passport at all times.
Food:
Three meals a day are provided – both on-site at the base and while we’re out doing ministry. Our incredible cooks prepare delicious Guatemalan and Western-style dishes. We do our best to accommodate dietary needs, but feel free to bring supplements if needed.
