HINENI: IMMERSION IN MISSIONS

When we ask local Guatemalans, “What is a missionary?” many wouldn’t think to say, “I am.” Most associate missionaries with foreigners or helpers from outside. We want to change that.

Enter Hineni, a Hebrew word meaning “Here I am.” It’s the response Moses gave at the burning bush, Samuel spoke as a boy, and Isaiah declared when God asked, “Who will go for us?”

We created Hineni: Immersion in Missions to help Latinos from any background step into their calling. This one-month program introduces participants to local and global missions. So many believers have a YES in their spirit but do not know where to start! Hineni is meant to foster and nurture that “yes.”

  • Servant-hearted ministry

  • Biblical studies

  • Evangelism & Unreached People Groups

  • Testimonies from Latino missionaries

  • Support raising

  • English classes

  • Conflict resolution & feedback

  • Healthy team dynamics

Hineni equips participants to walk boldly into missions with clarity, confidence, and a heart to serve.

  • "Through Hineni, God completely changed my life. One of the things that impacted my life the most in this training was to understand the word “Hineni”. It is a Hebrew word that means: I am here even if I don’t know how, where, when, even in spite of myself. Hineni Intensive impacted me to not stay in the shallows, but to go to the depths of God’s heart, knowing Him more deeply and being captivated by His beauty. It is from that place that He sees me trustworthy to collaborate with His Eternal Plan.
